To provide quality resident care including medication administration and management as specified on an individualized resident care plan, assignment sheets and medication administration record, according to established policies, procedures and objectives of the facility. The position of CRA Medication Assistant requires current registration as a Certified Resident Assistant in the state of North Dakota as well as certification as a Medication Aide.
Certified Nursing AssistantsSign-on Bonus up to $5,000

Full-Time and Part-Time openings. 8 and 12 hours shifts available.
Accountable for the primary care of our residents. Duties include but are not limited to—transporting, feeding, bathing, toileting, etc. Prior CNA or caregiving experience appreciated. This position requires current registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of North Dakota. Training available for those not certified.
DieticianFull-Time, Monday through FridayThe Dietitian is responsible for the documentation and the delivery of nutritional needs of all the residents. They assist the Nutrition Coordinator in providing high quality meals to the residents of SMP Health-St. Raphael. The Dietitian needs to participate in maintaining a comfortable, homelike and hospitable environment that induces quiet, healing, prayer and worship. The Dietitian is responsible for the quality and appropriateness of meal services and assists in coordinating the established Quality Program for the department. Must be licensed and registered.
Dishwasher Full-Time, 7:30am to 3:30pmSeeking a caring and compassionate individual to ensure that our residents have clean and sanitized dishes.
Driver-Resident TransportationMonday-Friday, no weekends or holidays. Typical hours 7am – 3:30pm, but must be flexible for scheduled appointments.Seeking compassionate and caring individual to transport our residents. Driver will be providing transportation services to ensure our resident’s arrive at their scheduled appointments safely.
HousekeepersSign-On Bonus up to $1,000

Days 6:30am-3pm and part-time evening shift hours.
Responsible for the cleanliness of our resident rooms and common areas. Duties include: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, etc. Previous housekeeping or long-term care experience appreciated.
Laundry AssistantFull-Time, 32 hours per week. 8:00am to 3:00pm, rotating weekends and holidays.Seeking caring and compassionate individuals to provide clean linen and clothing to the residents in a long term care facility. Responsibilities include washing, drying, folding, and distributing clothing, bedding, and etc. to residents’ rooms.
Maintenance AssistantSign-On Bonus up to $1,000
Typical hours 7:00am-3:30pm
This position assists in ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of the organization’s physical infrastructure. Includes, general repair and upkeep of the building and grounds.
Nurses (LPN or RN)Sign-On Bonus up to $14,000

Full-Time and Part-Time openings on nightshift 7pm – 7:30am.
Seeking caring and compassionate nurses to help coordinate and direct care of an assigned group of residents during a 12-hour shift by following physician orders and facility practices. Provides accurate, timely documentation to support care delivery. Must hold a current license in the state of North Dakota as a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse or be able to transfer. Must be CPR certified. IV certification highly recommended for LPN’s.
Nutrition AssistantsSign-On Bonus up to $1,000

Full-Time 9:30am-6:30pm and Part-Time 4pm-7pm.
This position assists in meeting the nutritional needs of residents in a long-term care facility by providing appropriate foods and fluids as indicated on diet cards. Performing a variety of services related to dining, such as cleaning and sanitizing tables and chairs, stocking kitchenettes, and other duties as assigned.

HEALTH INSURANCE

Employees working 60 hours or more in a 2-week pay period are eligible for health insurance. Please see your Human Resources Specialist regarding plan benefits and enrollment criteria.

HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT (HSA)

SMP Health provides a high deductible health care plan with an HSA. Please see your Human Resources Specialist regarding plan benefits and enrollment criteria.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS

If you do not have an HSA, you might consider a Flexible Spending Account, which provides you with the opportunity through payroll deduction to set aside a portion of what would have been taxable income and deposit the money into a Personal Reimbursement Account.

RETIREMENT AND THE 401(K) SAVINGS PLAN

A 3% contribution is provided by the SMP Health at no cost to the employee. The 3% contribution is based on an employee’s gross earnings after one year of service by the SMP facility. To meet eligibility requirements, employees must complete 1,000 hours of service within a 12-month period, and the employee must be 21 years of age.

SHORT TERM DISABILITY PROGRAM

A serious medical condition can result in the loss of income that is important to you. The disability plans administered by SMP Health System will help to provide protection during such an event.

SERVICE AWARDS

In recognition of service to SMP Health, you will receive recognition after the following continuous years of service: 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, etc. Each milestone in your service at SMP Health System will be recognized by your facility.

PAID TIME OFF (PTO) & HOLIDAYS

Paid Time Off is provided to each employee in a benefit-eligible position of at least fifteen (15) hours per week. It is an account in which all earned credit for vacation, holidays, and short-term sick time accumulates. PTO is earned at a set ratio which increases with years of service.

There are seven (7) paid holidays per year. These are built into an employee’s Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit.

Regular full-time and part-time hourly employees receive one-and-one-half (1 ½) times their regular rate of pay for working on the paid holiday.
