Family Medicine Physician | Professional | SMP Health – St. Andrew’s is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our Rural Health Clinic with admitting privileges at our health center. The current opportunity is for a part-time position with potential for immediate growth into full-time for the right candidate. |
Pharmacy Director | Professional | Full-time position. Responsible for the efficient operation of the hospital pharmacy. The director dispenses medications as ordered by the authorized medical providers, as well as distributes drug information to the patients and staff of SMP Health - St. Andrew’s. The director will work within the policy and procedures of the facility while keeping in compliance with State and Federal laws. |
Activity Aide | General | Casual position; assists the Activity Coordinator in executing the swingbed patients’ activity program. He/she assists with group and/or one-to-one activities as assigned. |
Clinic LPN or RN | General | Casual position; Assists with patient office medical procedures routinely performed in a clinical setting, where conditions and treatment are normally of a non-critical nature. |
C.N.A./NA (Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistant) | General | Full-Time or Part-Time positions available. Nursing Assistants perform many basic care tasks for patients, like grooming, dressing, bathing, eating and exercising. They also assist the nursing staff with medical tasks like monitoring vitals with medical equipment and reporting patient behavior and wellbeing. |
CS/ER Technician | General | Full-time or Part-time positions available. CS/ER Technicians perform duties in one or more functional areas of material management, supply, processing and distribution. This includes the technical functions of reprocessing, decontamination, disinfection, preparation, packaging, sterilization, and distribution. The technician is the first responder to the emergency room and assists the nurses and practitioners as directed. |
Registered Nurse | General | Full-time or Part-time positions available. Nurses plan and provide care to patients in the hospital. A caring and compassionate nature, and the ability to deal with emotionally charged and pressured situations are important traits of a nurse. Applicant must possess a Registered Nurse license in the state of North Dakota. |
Food Production/Cook | General | Full-time position responsible for food preparation of patients and employees; maintaining high standards of quality and production and portion control, using standardized recipes; preparing appropriate quantities of food to meet menu requirements. |
Kitchen Aide | General | Part-Time position, flexible hours to perform a number of unskilled tasks relating to the function of the Dietary Department and keeps storerooms clean and in neat order. |

Below is a list of available benefits for those working 15 hours or more per week:
Employees working 60 hours or more in a 2-week pay period are eligible for health insurance. Please see your Human Resources Specialist regarding plan benefits and enrollment criteria.
The SMP Health provides a high deductible health care plan with an HSA. Please see your Human Resources Specialist regarding plan benefits and enrollment criteria.
If you do not have an HSA, you might consider a Flexible Spending Account, which provides you with the opportunity through payroll deduction to set aside a portion of what would have been taxable income and deposit the money into a Personal Reimbursement Account.
A 3% contribution is provided by the SMP Health at no cost to the employee. The 3% contribution is based on an employee’s gross earnings after one year of service by the SMP facility. To meet eligibility requirements, employees must complete 1,000 hours of service within a 12-month period, and the employee must be 21 years of age.
A serious medical condition can result in the loss of income that is important to you. The disability plans administered by SMP Health will help to provide protection during such an event.
In recognition of service to SMP Health, you will receive recognition after the following continuous years of service: 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, etc. Each milestone in your service at SMP Health will be recognized by your facility.
