St. Catherine North offers a specialty memory care unit on our 2nd floor called Prairie Rose. Prairie Rose is a 18 bed community for people with dementia who may wander or have behaviors.  We provide 24/7 medical care and supervision.  Our staff are trained to reduce confusion, use redirection, and provide validation for the person with dementia as they go through this journey. We provide meaningful activities that tailor to the needs of each specific person with dementia. Prairie Rose is a secure community, that includes a hallway that is designed for wandering.
