Additionally, Cardiac Rehabilitation includes education about heart disease and how to cope with its psychological impact.<\/li>\n<li>The program is designed to help recondition and improve the heart muscle\u2019s function and to help the cardiac patient return to an active lifestyle.<\/li>\n<li>A cardiac rehab facilitator provides your physician with information about your recovery by monitoring your vital signs, symptoms, exercise, and activity responses.<\/li>\n<li>Family members are encouraged to accompany the patient to the rehab sessions.
