Their sponsorship is never to be overlooked and we perpetuate this relationship in our logo as well as in the name of our organization.<\/p>\n

SMP Health – Ave Maria <\/span>is a ministry of\u00a0 SMP Health.\u00a0 The abbreviation \u201cSMP\u201d pertains to the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation. The organization\u2019s \u201cofficial\u201d name is the \u201cSisters of Mary of the Presentation Health.\u201d<\/p>\n

Our ministry logo for SMP Health – Ave Maria<\/span> incorporates the emblem of the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation to identify and perpetuate the Sisters as the source of our ministry, its mission, history and identity.<\/p>\n

The Emblem of the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In 1982 the General Chapter of the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation agreed to this oval symbol as a common community symbol to indicate membership in the Congregation.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\"\"\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The symbolism is explained by the Sisters as follows:<\/p>\n

The Cross <\/strong>represents Jesus Christ our Savior.
\nThe\u00a0M\u00a0<\/strong>represents Mary whose daughters we are.
\nThe\u00a0Oval\u00a0<\/strong>signifies the Church and our Congregation.
\nThe\u00a0Cross\u00a0<\/strong>is rooted in the earth\u00a0<\/strong>where our lives and ministry take place.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
